Romans - An Online Study
Tuesdays, 7:00pm, Beginning March 9
Romans is one of the most familiar books of the Bible, often quoted and studied for doctrinal and evangelistic purposes. In many ways, it provides us with the foundation of our understanding of salvation in Christ.
This will be an online Bible study, conducted over Zoom. If you'd like to be a part of the study, please request the sign-in credentials using the form below.
One of the things we're challenging each other to do in this study is to diagram the relationships of the terms and ideas in the scriptural texts. Here is an example of Romans 1:1-6 that Erik did. (You can click on the image to see it in full resolution, or click here.) You can see immediately that he puts any reference to Jesus in the middle and builds the diagram around Him.
This is not the only way to do this stuff. Do it however it makes sense to you. Some people like to write out all the verbs and then connect everything to them. Others use colored pencils and draws lots of lines and make highlights. There is no "right way" to do it. What is important is that you see relationships.
